Umbraco .NET Developer (Public Sector)
Location: Remote
Contract: 3 months (Potential for Extension)
IR35 Status: Outside IR35

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Fullstack Umbraco .NET Developer with a strong background in public sector projects. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to critical digital initiatives while enjoying the flexibility of a fully remote, outside IR35 contract.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Leadership: Drive the successful delivery of web-based projects, ensuring alignment with stakeholder requirements and project milestones.

  • Umbraco CMS Development: Develop, enhance, and maintain web applications using Umbraco CMS, ensuring user-centric and high-performance solutions.

  • Backend Development: Design and maintain scalable .NET (C#) and Azure-based Back End architectures.

  • Frontend Integration: Implement and integrate Front End technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to ensure seamless user experiences.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, stakeholders, and technical teams to deliver cohesive, well-structured solutions.

  • API Integration: Develop and integrate RESTful APIs to facilitate smooth data interactions across various systems.

  • Cloud Development: Leverage Azure services, ensuring best practices in cloud computing and security.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Proven expertise in Umbraco CMS development (v8+ preferred).

  • Strong experience in .NET Core/C# development.

  • Proficiency in Azure services, including deployment and security best practices.

  • Frontend experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks.

  • Experience with RESTful API development and integration.

  • Public sector experience, understanding accessibility and compliance standards.

  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Nice-to-Have:

  • Experience with headless CMS implementations.

  • Knowledge of DevOps pipelines and CI/CD practices.

  • Familiarity with React, Angular, or Vue.js for enhanced Front End functionality.
