SC Network Engineer

Our Government client is looking for 2 X Network Engineers on a minimum 9 month assignment.

SC clearance is needed for the role.

The client is based in Swansea, Wales and weekly travel may be required to site.

This is a senior hands-on technical role, providing expertise in the ongoing support of Network infrastructure whilst some of the existing team are designing, building, testing, and migrating to new Network infrastructure.
The ideal candidate will have supported network and security infrastructure in large complex environments. They will also have some relevant certifications and experience for the technology in use. They will have worked in ITIL environments with familiarity managing incidents and changes in ServiceNow.

Technology:
Routing & Switching: Juniper QFX, EX, MX & SRX hardware with knowledge of EVPN-VXLAN, BGP, OSPF.

Wifi: Cisco 9800, 9120, DNA (Catalyst Centre), ISE

Firewalls: Juniper, Checkpoint and PA or similar

Other: F5 LTM, Solarwinds other networking technology
