Job Title: Teaching Assistant
Location: Hillingdon ManorSchool, Uxbridge
Salary: £23,500.00 per annum (not pro rata)
Hours: 38.5 hours per week, Monday toFriday
Contract: Permanent, Term time only hours!

As part of ourcontinued growth, we now have a fantastic opportunity for aTeaching Assistant to join our close-knit team at Hillingdon ManorSchool, part of Options Autism.
The opportunity
As aTeaching Assistant, you will connect directly with the brilliantpupils we care for, helping to make sure they get the very bestfrom their education. Each individual has a diagnosis of Autism andmay have additional needs. They have so much potential, and theywill rely on you to guide their learning journeys bespoke tothem.
You will help prepare learning materialsand run classroom activities, with plenty of hands-on experienceand some supervision too. You will take responsibility for theiremotional and physical needs, supporting them to develop asindividuals and engage with the world.
You willface challenges and overcome them as you flourish and thrive,sharing your skills and learning from others as your career takesyou as high as you always dreamed you could go.
Every day will be different, but you will have all thesupport you need, with lots of skills and experience to draw onalong with valuable advice and guidance too.
Who we are looking for
You will be adaptable and ready to work in a variety ofclassroom roles, both indoors and outside according to individualneed. Taking a responsive and caring approach, you may be runningclassroom activities, leading outdoor experiences or supervisingpupils as they explore further afield.

About Us
At Hillingdon Manor, we provide specialist education for185 pupils, aged between 3.5 and 19. Located across two sites, ourSecondary School supports around 125 students. Our students aretaught in smaller class sizes and all students work towards avariety of qualifications dependent on their needs andability.
The aim of the site is to provideenough support to unlock each pupil's potential so they can livefulfilling and productive lives. We provide students with as muchfreedom as possible in a safe and supervised environment. This isachievable due to the dedication and support from a range ofemployed professionals who are passionate, reliable, andunderstanding.
For over 16 years Options Autismhave provided care and education to pupils and adults with autism,complex needs and learning difficulties. As part of Outcomes FirstGroup, we are leading our sector in setting and delivering newapproaches that provide measurable outcomes for those in ourcare.
