Jobtitle: Speech and LanguageTherapist
Location: Kestrel House School -London
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8.30am -4.30pm
Contract: Permanent, Term Time only, 41 weeks (There may be scope for thisrole to be a full-time contract (52 weeks) if this is yourpreference, please get in touch to discuss.)
Salary: Up to £53,200 (pro-rata, dependent uponexperience)
Essential: Valid UK full driving licence and access to ownvehicle
About therole

We are looking for aSpeech and Language Therapist to join our developing in-houseClinical Team, this includes occupational therapy, psychotherapyand therapy assistants. You will deliver bespoke assessment andintervention plans for the pupils we support.
You will be responsible for holding a speech and languagetherapy caseload and with the full support of our knowledgeableClinical Team, you will also contribute to staff training andconsultation. Both a challenging and rewarding role, this positionwould suit a resilient and enthusiastic individual, with a creativetherapeutic approach and the ability to make decisions, as well asmanage their own workload. In addition, you will provideinformation and training to staff, commissioners and other agenciesas required.

Essential Criteria:
Allied Health Professionalqualification in Speech and Language Therapy
Registered with the HCPC andRCSLT
Experience of workingin multi-disciplinary teams
Experience of working with children, youngpeople and adults who have an intellectual disability and/or autismwith additional needs (e.g. complex trauma, mental health needs,behaviours of concern)
Experience of working within schoolenvironments
Valid UK fulldriving licence and access to own vehicle
