Job Title: LeadClinician- Clinical/Counselling Psychologist

Location: RedKite School - South East

Salary: £50,000 up to £60,000 dependent onexperience

Contract: Permanent, 52 weeks, 37.5 hoursper week

We're looking for anexperienced Lead Clinician - Clinical/Counselling Psychologist tojoin our team who will contribute to bespoke assessment andintervention plans for the pupils we support. This is a wide andvaried role ideal for those looking for a new challenge where youcan truly have an impact on shaping services and drivingchange.

About therole

The post is located within RedKite School based in the South East. You will be joining a clinicalteam to facilitate MDT working, consisting of Speech and LanguageTherapy and Occupational Therapy. The clinical team is embeddedinto the structure of the provision which enables positive andeffective multi-disciplinary working across the education services,in order to maximise clinical outcomes for our pupils.

You will be working within the overall framework of theservice policies and procedures and within existing MDT andClinical Governance structures to support the services in futuredevelopment and ensuring quality assurance.

Ourclinical teams help to develop empowering environments where ourpupils can flourish, always putting them at the forefront ofeverything they do. All our settings maintain a strong safeguardingculture, and the pupils we support are heard, respected andinvolved in decisions that affect them wherever possible.

Essential Criteria:

  • Post-graduate doctoral levelqualification in Psychology (clinical, counselling, forensic), orexperienced Psychotherapist

  • Registered with the HCPC andBPS.

  • Experience insupervising Assistant Psychologists

  • Previous experience working with adults orchildren with intellectual disabilities

  • Ability to work collaboratively with a range ofkey partners

  • Able to worksensitively with people and resolve conflicteffectively

  • Evidence ofcontinuing professional development relevant to thesetting

  • Substantial andrelevant post-qualification experience with adults andchildren.

  • Experience oflecturing/teaching/training

  • Skills in the management of data are alsoimportant as the role includes collecting and analysing data toinform various pieces of service delivery, development and projectwork.
