Job Title: Specialist Occupational Therapist - DevelopmentOpportunity

Location: Copper Fields School, Cornwall, SouthWest

Salary: Up to £45,000 FTE, dependent onexperience

Hours: 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday

Contract: Permanent,Term Time only, 41 weeks

Essential: Full UK driving licence and access to own vehiclerequired

With experienced Occupational Therapistsworking across the South West locality, clinical supervisionavailable internally and our £2000 CPD incentive, this post willoffer the successful applicant an opportunity to develop theirspecialism in working with neurodivergent children and young peoplewho have experienced trauma.

We are looking foran Occupational Therapist to join our clinical division, workingcollaboratively to deliver bespoke assessment and interventionplans for our pupils with developmental trauma, autism, ADHD,complex and SEMH needs

About therole

You will implement a holistic,therapeutic approach to helping our pupils in their daily lives,ensuring they are safe, comfortable, and healthy. Undertaking allaspects of Occupational Therapy clinical duties, you will adhere toprofessional and regulatory guidelines, carrying out individualassessments and interventions, and preparing relevantdocumentation, including writing reports. In addition, you willprovide information and training to staff, commissioners and otheragencies, as required.

Essential Criteria:

  • Recognised and relevant OccupationalTherapist degree

  • Valid andup to date HCPC registration

  • Sensory Integration qualification, desirable(including those who are part one through their postgraduatetraining)

  • Experienceworking with Children and Young People

  • Experience of working within an educationalsetting would be advantageous

  • Valid full UK Driving Licence and access to ownvehicle
