Minky Homecare is a long-established and renowned housewares group. Our product categories include laundry, cleaning, housewares, and an extensive garden leisure portfolio. We design and manufacture products in the UK, and source unique lines from across the world. We have significant growth targets and a sustained and energetic programme of new product development.

We are now broadening our ecommerce remit to deliver significant incremental sales growth in the UK, and internationally. Our culture is entrepreneurial and fast-paced and we have the opportunity for a Product and Brand Manager to join our Home and Garden division.

Main Purpose of Job

You will be responsible for growing ecommerce sales of key products, through marketplaces and websites, in the UK and internationally. You will manage the product portfolio for exclusive web/B2C products (inc product brands Vitinni, Fire Mountain and Alfresia) and drive sales through effective product management, oversight of content and listings, and key marketing initiatives.

Responsibilities and Tasks

  • Responsible for growing ecommerce sales for our web/b2c exclusive product brands. These include Alfresia (garden furniture), Fire Mountain (barbecues) and Vitinni (kitchen electricals and cookware).
  • Lead the range selection, brand development and online presentation for these brands to grow their sales in UK and internationally, through marketplaces and websites.
  • Undertake market and competitor analysis, and with work with Ecommerce Buying and Product Quality team to identify and deliver compelling, coherent and market-leading product ranges.
  • Oversee forecasting and re-supply, supported by our teams in the UK and China.
  • Review sales performance, stock holdings, and rates of sale to identify promotional opportunities.
  • Manage and, when applicable undertake, product copy writing and marketing material. Oversee photography and video briefs, and graphic design briefs.
  • Work with ecommerce colleagues to co-ordinate the tasks and workload for the content and listings team, helping ensuring tasks are effectively prioritised and completed efficiently, and on-time.
  • Identify international ecommerce sales growth opportunities for your product categories.
  • Proactively suggest website content improvements, cross-selling opportunities and promotional activity to boost sales.
  • Work with Ecommerce and Marketing team colleagues to propose, agree, and deliver select marketing, content, PR, SEO, and social media campaigns to grow ecommerce sales in the UK and internationally.
  • Work with the Ecommerce Operational Manager, supply chain, buying, product, logistics, and warehousing teams to understand and improve systems, and to ensure operational efficiency and scalability.
