Job Description
Global Enterprise Partners is currently looking for a Murex Front Office for our client, a financial services company in Amsterdam, the Netherlands
Key Responsibilities:
- Murex Front Office Support:
- Collaborate with Front Office users to understand requirements and configure Murex modules for trading, risk management, and pricing functionalities.
- Ensure accurate trade capture, position management, and pricing within the Murex platform.
- Monitor trade booking processes, address discrepancies, and maintain data integrity from Front Office to downstream systems.
- Provide day-to-day support for traders and Front Office staff, troubleshooting issues related to trade entry, risk reporting, pricing, or system performance.
- Identify opportunities to enhance Front Office functionalities within Murex to improve efficiency, accuracy, and usability.
- Murex Accounting Support:
- Configure and maintain Murex accounting modules to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with accounting standards.
- Collaborate with finance and operations teams to integrate accounting processes within the Murex platform.
- Monitor and reconcile accounting data, ensuring consistency between trading activities and financial records.
- Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures within the Murex environment.
Must have:
- Strong understanding of commonly traded financial instruments (eg, derivatives, equities, Fixed Income, FX) and capital markets processes across front-to-mid office (pricing, Valuations and Risk).
- Extensive experience with Front Office modules such as simulation, live book, pre-trade debugging, e-trade pad, pre-trade workflows, market data, P&L, GOM, PLVA
- Hands on experience on key asset classes like FX/MM, FI, IRD, COM, Credit
- Good understanding of market data for different asset classes (IR curves,Volatility Smiles/Surface for products with optionality, Bond & Future Prices,FX Spot rates etc.)
- Experience on workflows (pre-trade and post-trade) in Murex 3.1
- Proficiency in configuring and maintaining Murex accounting modules, ensuring alignment with financial reporting standards.
- Able to handle Front Office booking issues and has a strong debugging knowledge of pre-trade rules and debugging
- Good knowledge of MSL, access rights, portfolio tree, e-trade pad, and Simulation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- This role requires a combination of technical proficiency in the Murex platform and a deep understanding of financial markets and accounting principles. The consultant will play a critical role in ensuring that the Murex system supports both trading operations and accurate financial reporting.
Good To Have
- Experience of setting market data in Murex treasury platform
- Experience in gathering and writing requirements and functional specifications
- Good to have experience in writing SQL code
