People Partner

MLC Partners are proud to be actively recruiting a People Partner with a Charity based in Southwest London. This is an interim role, with the strong potential of extension/permanent opportunity. It is a full-time role, with hybrid working onsite near Kingston upon Thames (and occasional visits to a site in Guildford), and from home (2days).

The People partner post is a broad generalist role, that will assist the wider organisation to grow, by implementing effective people and HR strategies.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide input and support the wider P&C team to implement the people strategy.
• Business partner to key stakeholders to support existing and future risk to people performance and workplace issues.
• Provide expert advice to 'Heads of departments on any employee relations issues.
• Support junior members of staff with the wider organisation with HR advice on, but not limited to recruitment and selection, employee relations, performance management, reward and recognition, staff learning and development, employee engagement, equality and diversity and inclusion.
• Work with the Director of People & Culture on employee engagement activities and support the organisations EDI strategy and Wellbeing strategy.
• Management of the associate people partner.

Person Specification:

• Chartered Membership or CIPD equivalent experience.
• Proven experience in a broad HR generalist role, with strong ownership of ER related issues.
• Experience in managing and successfully implementing change and process improvement.
• Engagement, EDI and employee wellbeing strategy experience.
• Line management and charitable experience is a bonus.
