Sterling Integrator Engineer with Connect Direct

The role is to work as a Sterling Integrator Engineer With Connect Direct on a contract basis with a client based in Hampshire. They are a major household brand name in the electronics sector.

To be considered for this role, your CV must be able to evidence hands on Sterling Integrator experience, and be comfortable at a business process and ideally architecture level. You will be experienced with Connect Direct Unix and Connect Direct Windows. Familiar with the NetWeaver SDK on Linux RHEL and using this framework to recreate existing programs written for AIX. You will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Have the ability to troubleshoot on your feet and be able to explain the root cause of any issues in detail to the business. Active engagement with the business and helping them resolve any and all challenges with Sterling Integrator. Work with customers, network and security team in setting up/troubleshooting SI/CD file transfer. Knowledge of SSP, PGP, CLA2. C programming skills to update RFC programs. Any experience with Connect Direct stand-alone instances across various platforms would be advantageous along with SFG and an understanding of Cloud platforms (AWS or GCP or Azure).
