Solution Architect

Job description:

The IT Optimisation & Generation team drives the Optimisation & Generation application development and maintenance (adhering to Agile principles and practices), ensuring operational excellence in Optimisation & Generation technology stack and driving its ongoing evolution. The team(s) support a wide variety of applications, both on prem as well as SaaS. The OptiGen technology stack is supporting the (Mid Term & Short Term) Optimisation teams to perform all wholesale market transactions, balancing services and hedging operations of Luminus. Furthermore they help connecting Luminus to the national grid operators.

As a Solution Architect, you'll transform business requirements into scalable, efficient, and future-proof solutions while maintaining a hands-on approach during prototyping phases.

• Design and document architectural solutions that meet business needs and align with security policies.
• Collaborate with teams to define epics, features, and PI objectives in Agile environments.
• Guide development teams to ensure best practices and technical governance are followed.
• Ensure smooth project delivery by supporting integration, testing, and post-delivery processes.

Requirements:

• Master's degree in IT or equivalent experience.
• Expertise in .NET, AWS, and UML for architectural design and prototyping.
• Experience in managing complex systems or platforms, ideally within the energy sector, is essential for this role.
• Strong analytical and architectural skills paired with excellent communication and collaboration abilities to manage stakeholders.
• A proactive, team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently when needed.
• Fluent in English, with knowledge of Dutch or French a plus.
