Job Description

The Solution Architect will lead the design and implementation of complex IT solutions, ensuring they align with business needs. This role involves close collaboration with stakeholders to develop secure, reliable, and scalable solutions. The architect will oversee the solution's overall structure, including technology selection, system design, and component integration, while providing technical guidance and mentorship to the team.

This is a technical customer-facing position, engaging in both business-as-usual (BAU) operations and transformation programs. The role involves working closely with senior customer, internal, and supplier stakeholders within a large public sector project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a technical lead in a fast-paced IT environment.
  • Engage with both BAU activities and major transformation initiatives.
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders across various sectors.
  • Expertise in Microsoft 365 and Azure design and administration.

Primary Duties:

  • Configure and manage Microsoft 365 services.
  • Administer M365 licenses and user accounts.
  • Oversee Azure configurations, cost management, and service administration.
  • Ensure the integrity of technical solutions such as PowerBI, Intune, Data Lake, DLP, and MFA.
  • Apply security best practices in M365 and Azure environments, including Azure Sentinel.
  • Provide technical consultancy to BAU teams on a range of issues.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Proficiency with Dynamics 365 CRM/CE.
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Platform.
  • SC cleared or eligible.
  • Experience with mobile device management (MDM) and application management via Intune.
  • Strong understanding of Azure networking and security.
  • Knowledge of cloud deployment and governance requirements.
  • Familiarity with security and privacy regulations like GDPR, CCPA, or HIPAA.
  • Extensive experience developing and implementing cloud-based solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Strong leadership skills, including leading workshops and presenting to technical stakeholders.
  • Comfortable interacting with customers and suppliers at all levels.
