Senior Virtualisation Engineer - VMware - vRO, vRA

Our client is looking for a senior cloud engineer with strong automation engineering experience to join a team responsible for developing their cloud management and automation platform.

You will be responsible for further development, day to day operation, supporting and resolving issues with the platform.

To be successful in this role the following experience is essential:

• Deep experience automating public clouds - ideally Google
• Strong experience with vRO (v8) and vRA (v8)
• Scripting experience - Shell, vRO, vCLI, PowerCLI, Unix/Bash
• Strong Terraform IaC
• Tuning and Analysis experience with RHEL
• Strong understanding of the vSphere API
• VMware certification - minimum VCP

Specific industry experience is not essential, but you must have worked in large, regulated, enterprise environments.

The role is hybrid, 3 days per week in the office in London (City), and will fall outside IR35.
