An esteemed software company that serves a global client base that includes brokerage firms, top banks, and insurers is currently seeking a Senior Network & Security Cloud Architect to join their team. You will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and managing our AWS cloud infrastructure to ensure it meets the highest standards of security, scalability, and performance.

As the Senior Network & Security Cloud Architect / Senior Cloud Architect, this is ahands-on role where you'll be teaching, leading, and learning from others in the company, ensuring that we all move forward as one group.
Responsibilities:
- Senior Network & Security Cloud Architectwill lead the design and evolution of the cloud network architecture, incorporating cutting-edge technologies and best practices.
- Leverage your deep understanding of cloud networking, security principles, and industry best practices to protect our critical assets and ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our data.
- Develop and maintain detailed network diagrams, documentation, and standards to ensure consistency and maintainability.
- Design and implement secure network connectivity between cloud environments, on-premises data centres, and remote offices.
- Leverage cloud-native networking services (e.g., VPCs, firewalls, load balancers, VPNs) to optimize performance, scalability, and security.
Key Skills:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Expertise in network and security architecture, focused on AWS cloud.
- You possess in-depth knowledge of AWS networking and security services, including AWS Transit Gateway, AWS Direct Connect etc.
- Expertise extends to network security protocols such as IPSec and SSL/TLS, and you are proficient in configuring and managing intrusion detection and prevention systems (IDS/IPS).
- Certifications in CISSP, CCNP Security, AWS Certified Security - Specialty, or equivalent certifications are highly desirable.
- Knowledge and experience of EKS, Transit Gateways, Landing Zones, VPC Peering and Multi-Region Deployments preferred.
