Mental Health Advanced Social Work Practitioner

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Mental Health Senior Practitioner in the Living Well Gedling Team. You will join a well-established team of Social Workers and Community Care Officers.

The team is multi-specialist, however the role will particularly focus on supporting individuals with mental health to live the lives that they chose, with the correct support. The role will involve multidisciplinary working, management of complex mental health cases, hospital discharges from acute psychiatric wards and some transforming lives work. Other responsibilities also include leadership of the team duty and Safeguarding work.

You will be skilled in strength-based approaches to embed the ethos of promoting independence and wellbeing in the prevention and delay for the need for ongoing care and support. An essential part of this role is the development, supervision, coaching and leadership of staff.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated, and organised worker who is ready for the next challenge.

You will need to be a Qualified Social Worker who is Practice Educator, BIA or AMHP qualified.
