Senior Engineering Project Manager - Permanent - Main Contractor - Leicester - Water Industry

Your new company
You will be joining an established main contractor based in Leicester operating in the water industry. This multi-accredited organisation has a strong pipeline of work with multiple water providers, including Severn Trent, and offers excellent opportunities for career progression and professional development. Due to continued success, they are looking to onboard a Senior Engineering Project Manager to join their team. This is a full-time office-based position with occasional site travel.
This is a full-time permanent office-based position with occasional site travel. Working hours are 37.5 hours per week with half-day finishes on Fridays. Flexi hours are available between 7:30am-5:30pm.
Your new role
As Senior Engineering Project Manager, you will be based out of their Leicester office and be responsible for, but not limited to:

Managing and delivering projects from conception through to completion, ensuring all works are carried out safely, on time and within budget

Developing and managing project schedules, resource plans and budgets

Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors

Managing project delivery teams

Building and maintaining relationships with both client and external stakeholders

Procuring specialist plant and equipment

Ensuring weekly reviews of projects, resources and forward planning are carried out

Managing project budgets and holding accountability for project deliverables.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you must have:

Proven project management experience in the water industry

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Good working knowledge of NEC contracts, CDM regulations and project programmes

Full UK driving licence.
