EdEx are working with a leading secondary school in Islington, who are looking for a Secondary Academic Support Assistant to start ASAP!

Within this role, you will be there to run focused booster/intervention sessions for selected students both inside and outside the classroom while also supporting class teachers across varying subjects and levels.

After successfully placing over 15 graduates at the school already and forming a brilliant relationship with the Head Teacher over the last two years, they are now eager to open their doors to the next budding graduate looking to kickstart their career.

Secondary Academic Support Assistant - About the role/school;

• Secondary Academic Support Assistant
• Working across all year groups (KS3, KS4 & KS5)
• Lead 1:1 and group interventions with students who are struggling academically
• Supporting class teachers across varying subjects and levels
• £105 - £110 per day - Term time only
• Full-time position - Full academic year
• ASAP Start
• Newly modernised facilities to work within
• Knowledgeable and welcoming staff/SLT
• Cycle-to-work scheme and onsite parking
• Located within the borough of Islington

Secondary Academic Support Assistant - Ideal applicant;

• Must have a 1st or 2:1 from a reputable university
• Have a passion for education with future aspiration to become a teacher
• Be a confident individual who can be adaptable
• Must be able to efficiently work as a part of a wider team
