Job Description

Location: Ruislip, Middlesex

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.00pm, with one hour for lunch

Job summary: The role forms part of the sales support team, whose function it is to provide full operational and administrative support to the National and Sales account managers.

General duties:

  • Ensure customer orders are processed accurately and in a timely manner
  • Handling customer queries
  • Completing customer data sheets for use in online activities
  • Preparing quotations
  • Generating reports for the sales team
  • Generating customer status reports
  • Sample requests
  • Preparing image banks for customer use

Skills:

  • Advanced Excel ( Vlookups & Pivot tables ) /MS Office
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a sales office or customer service role within the import/export and distribution sector
  • Experience of supporting account managers or field sales team
  • Able to work to set deadlines
  • Be able to work on their own initiative
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to communicate at all levels
  • Ability to prioritise
  • Fluency in another European language is advantageous
