Reception Teacher

A reception teacher is needed for the summer term, on a full-time basis near Henley in Arden.

A beautiful village primary school which is easily accessible from Alcester, Stratford Upon Avon, Redditch and Solihull is looking for a reception teacher to start on Monday 28th April 2025. This is a 'Good School' where pupils feel safe and happy. This is a friendly and caring school where children are supported not only academically but their personal, creative and social skills as well.
Your new role
Your new job as a reception teacher is to work on a full-time basis for the summer term. You'll be required to take on full class responsibility, including completing all the planning, preparation and assessments of the children and setting up engaging free flow areas which stimulate children's interests. You will be responsible for supporting the children within a secure learning environment and getting them Year 1 ready.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this new job, ideally you will have experience of reception age classes / early years or key stage 1. You must pride yourself on creating a learning environment that is engaging and stimulating and be confident to get the children within the class to be ready to start Year 1 in September. For the right person, this job does have the potential to extend / become permanent from September should you wish.
What you'll get in return
