A Quantity Surveyor job based in Birmingham paying up to £55,000 per annum
What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed in this role you will be an experienced QS, also with a relevant qualification (HNC, Degree tec) or a high level of experience. You will have strong, demonstrable experience in contract management, and managing high-value contracts. You should have experience in financial compliance legislation and similar experience within the sector.
VISA sponsorship will not be offered and candidates require the right to work in the UK at the time of application. Candidates not meeting this criteria need not apply.

Hays are delighted to be working alongside a local housing association in the Birmingham area in recruiting a Quantity Surveyor to join their team on a permanent basis. The role will focus on providing a first-class repairs and maintenance service whilst ensuring value for money.
Your new role
Your new role will see you ensure effective commercial management and delivery of repairs and maintenance services, ensuring delivery within budget. Your duties will include:
- Manage and oversee the delivery of repairs, maintenance, and voids projects.
- Manage high value contracts for the repairs and maintenance team.
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective delivery of service.
- Ensure compliance with the organisation's financial delivery framework within your allocated projects.
- Review budget and expenditure to ensure compliance with financial controls.
- Engage with the wider repair and maintenance teams to ensure a first-class service.
