About theRole

We're seeking an experiencedNursery Manager to lead our onsite nursery, providing a nurturingand high-quality childcare environment for the children of ourButlin's Team Members.
In thisexciting role, you'll oversee all aspects of the nursery'soperations, ensuring the highest standards of care and creating apositive, engaging setting for young children. Yourresponsibilities will include maintaining and improving servicestandards, managing the nursery's financial performance, andensuring compliance with company policies and legalrequirements.

You'll besupported by the People Senior Manager, as well as a dedicatedAssistant Manager, to ensure the smooth daily running of thenursery and exceed the expectations of children, parents, andguardians.

AboutYou
As Nursery Manager, you'lloversee the daily operations of the Nursery, ensuring a welcoming,family-friendly environment and the highest standards of care andeducation.

You'll leadthe team, drive strategic planning, and ensure effectivecommunication with families and partners. Your responsibilitiesinclude admissions, resource management, and maintaining recordswhile providing regular updates to parents on their child'sprogress. You will also closely monitor P&L, parent feedbackand growing the occupancy of the nursery to ensure the venue, andyour team are set up for success and we are taking opportunities toimprove where we can.

Safety and compliance with statutoryrequirements, EYFS principles, and safeguarding policies will becentral to your role. You'll inspire the team to deliverexceptional childcare and a nurturing environment everyday.

KeyResponsibilities
To succeed in thisrole, you'll need at least two years of nursery managementexperience, strong Early Years knowledge, and a relevantqualification like CACHE Diploma or NVQ Level3/4.

A solid grasp of the Early YearsFoundation Stage, Ofsted regulations, Health & Safety, andEqual Opportunities is essential. Taking overall responsibility forall Health and Safety paperwork across the nursery e.g. ensuringfood hygiene paperwork up to date, open and closing checks, visualrisk assessments.

To be the first point of callfor OFSTED, responsible during an OFSTED inspection for the wholeof the nursery, ensuring that the day runs smoothly and effectivelyand that the team feel at ease.

You shouldbe a problem-solver with great attention to detail, capable ofprioritising and delegating tasks. A positive role model, you'llinspire your team, work well under pressure, and show a willingnessto grow through further training andprojects.
