In Roosendaal there is a new PRIMARK distribution center with a size of more than 30,000 m2. From this distribution center, France, Spain and Italy are supplied with trendy clothing. In the DC, SSI SCHAEFER built the complete logistics facility in 2020 and carries out maintenance on, among other things, Automated Guided Vehicles, automatic cranes, a monorail system and pallet transport systems. If you come to work here, you will work with state-of-the-art technology, with your own tools (cart), laptop and telephone. And you have access to a fully equipped workshop and delicious coffee.

WHAT WILL YOU DO AS A MAINTENANCE ENGINEER?
As a maintenance technician, you will be part of our service team for PRIMARK in Roosendaal. You can develop quickly and you will receive an extensive induction program on the maintenance of various technical installations. For example, there are 20-meter high automatic cranes, pallet transport systems, a monorail system and Automated Guided Vehicles that drive around.
You will assist in the event of malfunctions and coordinate maintenance actions with our logistics partner GXO. Together with your colleagues, you will plan and execute the work. You will work closely with your teammates and can coordinate matters well, but you will also perform tasks completely independently. In short: a challenging role in which you will be working with innovative technology on a daily basis, where you can learn quickly and a lot. Just like other employees at PRIMARK, you will also be doing maintenance on the SSI-SCHAEFER installation at KLM. This means that you will travel to KLM (Amsterdam region) a few days a month.

• A (permanent) position at SSI SCHAEFER
• Salary between €3,000 and €4,000 gross per month when working full-time (depending on work experience)
• Surcharge of 16% on your salary in connection with the shift system and an attractive bonus scheme
• Travel expenses €0.23 per kilometer (max. 50 km one way)
• Conditions in accordance with the collective labor agreement for the Metal and Electrical Industry (27 vacation days, PME pension and a training day)
• An extensive induction program, where you can follow training courses on the job, but also in Germany or Austria
• All necessary safety training to be able to perform your work safely

• You have completed a technical education, preferably at MBO-3 level or want to obtain this diploma. An education in motor vehicle technology, mechatronics, mechanical engineering or equivalent is a good fit
• You are interested in maintenance work on logistics systems

• You have a customer-oriented attitude
• You look at yourself critically and are open to feedback from others
