M&E Quantity Surveyor

Looking for a M&E Quantity Surveyor for one of our clients' NEC healthcare projects in Lincoln.

Job Title: M&E Quantity SurveyorLocation: Lincoln / NottinghamPay Rate: £400 - £500 per dayWork Arrangements: Office / Site / WFHHours:

Monday to Thursday: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Friday: 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM

Working Pattern:

2 days from home

3 days in the office/site

Position Type:
Temporary (2-3 months) with potential for extension or permanent role
Projects:

Healthcare projects account for the majority of this clients' work.

Industrial projects including Amazon warehouses.

Project Values range but are typically around £10m for the MEP Packages.

Software:

Microsoft NAV (experience preferred)

Excel

Word

Qualifications:

Ideally, a quantity surveying degree or equivalent

Typical Duties:

NEC contracts (Option C - Target cost model)

Managing change

Compensation events

Managing valuations upstream to client

Managing subcontractors' payment notices and changes

Internal processes, monthly CVR P/L spreadsheet

Cash-flow monitoring

Supporting the project team

Building and managing relationships with clients

Key Points:

NEC experience is essential
