Job Description
Looking for a M&E Quantity Surveyor for one of our clients' NEC healthcare projects in Lincoln.

Job Title: M&E Quantity SurveyorLocation: Lincoln / NottinghamPay Rate: £400 - £500 per dayWork Arrangements: Office / Site / WFHHours:

  • Monday to Thursday: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
  • Friday: 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM
    • Working Pattern:
  • 2 days from home
  • 3 days in the office/site
    • Position Type:
    Temporary (2-3 months) with potential for extension or permanent role
    Projects:
  • Healthcare projects account for the majority of this clients' work.
  • Industrial projects including Amazon warehouses.
  • Project Values range but are typically around £10m for the MEP Packages.

    • Software:
  • Microsoft NAV (experience preferred)
  • Excel
  • Word

    • Qualifications:
  • Ideally, a quantity surveying degree or equivalent

    • Typical Duties:
  • NEC contracts (Option C - Target cost model)
  • Managing change
  • Compensation events
  • Managing valuations upstream to client
  • Managing subcontractors' payment notices and changes
  • Internal processes, monthly CVR P/L spreadsheet
  • Cash-flow monitoring
  • Supporting the project team
  • Building and managing relationships with clients

  • NEC experience is essential
