LACO - Senior Data Analyst

We are searching for a Senior Data Analyst / Power BI to strengthen our Microsoft-Team! To join them in working on new upcoming projects.

Your job
As a Data Analyst/Power BI Expert at LACO, you'll be responsible for

• Understanding and mapping out the requirements of the business
• Collecting, cleaning and pre-processing data from various sources
• Working closely with cross-functional teams and leveraging your expertise in Power BI to create compelling visualizations and reports
• Designing, optimizing, and developing Power BI reports and dashboards to meet business needs and requirements
• Working closely with stakeholders to gather and understand data requirements, ensuring data accuracy and consistency
• Troubleshooting and resolving issues with Power BI reports, transforming complex data sets into meaningful insights through the creation of data visualizations
• Staying up to date with the latest Power BI Microsoft Fabric features and best practices to excel in this role

Your skills

• You have a Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in computer science or equivalent
• You have an analytical mindset
• You have at least 3 years proven experience as a Power BI Developer or a similar role
• You know all about the programming languages SQL, DAX and Python
• You can model data using Kimball, Dimensional Modelling and Data Vault
• You are proficient in Power BI, including DAX, data modelling and custom visuals

You get even more bonus points if

• You have a good knowledge of Azure Synapse, Data Factory, and Databricks
• You are familiar with diverse types of data Storage for structured data
• You are a strong communicator with teamwork abilities
• You are fluent in Dutch and/or French and English
