Java Software Engineer

Our client, a leading global investment bank, seeks a strong Java software engineer with extensive experience working in cloud environments and very comfortable working with DevOps.

The successful candidate will be deploying solutions into a number of different cloud techs, as well as working on integration of our client technology into external infrastructure.

Critical for the role:-

• Strong capability with Java, which is the primary programming language for the role
• A high degree of comfort working in cloud environments, with due consideration around network security when connecting to external venues
• Experience implementing REST APIs (knowledge in API security would be a plus, JWT/Nimbus), unit tests and using a test-driven development approach and associated testing tools
• Candidates with AWS, GCP or Azure are encouraged to apply
• Strong DevOps experience is also highly critical for this role
• Candidates with experience working with python rather than Java would also be of interest to the client
