Infrastructure Engineer

Location: Oxford Hybrid working (2 days in office per week)

We are looking for a technically skilled Infrastructure Engineer to support and maintain our clients evolving IT landscape across Europe. In this role, you'll be a key part of a collaborative, forward-thinking team, ensuring the reliability, security, and efficiency of their infrastructure-spanning cloud, on-premise systems, and collaboration tools.

This is a hybrid role with flexibility to work from home 3 days a week, and occasional travel to their European offices.

Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure & Device Management

• Maintain physical and virtual environments (Windows & Linux)

• Administer VMware ESXi-based systems

• Oversee endpoint device deployment and laptop imaging

• Manage Meraki network devices (SD-WAN, Switches, Firewalls, Wi-Fi)

• Support printing services and monitoring systems

Cloud & Collaboration Tools

• Manage Microsoft Azure and Active Directory (cloud & on-prem)

• Support MS Teams telephony and video conferencing

• Provide support for Box and other cloud storage platforms

Security & Compliance

• Run patch management processes (ZENWorks)

• Work with Microsoft Sentinel and MDR solutions

• Collaborate with SOC/SIEM providers to monitor and improve security posture

Experience & Knowledge

• 2-3 years' experience in a similar infrastructure role

• Proficient in Microsoft Active Directory and Windows Server ()

• Experience with VMware and Meraki networking solutions

• Familiarity with Azure services

• Understanding of IT security tools and practices
