Automated Testing Equipment Engineer - Contract - Milan

I am actively recruiting for an Automated Testing Equipment Engineer to start a 6 month ongoing contract in Milan, Italy. You will be responsible for the development, testing, and maintenance of automated test equipment used for testing electronic components and systems in medical devices. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the testing processes are efficient, accurate, and meet industry standards. Fluent Italian speaking is essential

Key Responsibilities:

• Define test methods and strategies for mass production.
• Design and develop automated test equipment and test programs.
• Conduct testing and validation of electronic components and systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve testing issues.
• Maintain and update existing test equipment and software.
• Document test procedures, results, and any modifications made to the test systems.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.
• Stay updated with the latest technologies and industry trends related to automated testing.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with programming languages such as Python and C/C++ is considered a nice-to-have.
• Experience in electronic circuit design and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with data analysis and reporting tools.
• Experience in technologies of leak testing/machine vision testing/mechanical testing/RF testing
• Knowledge of TestStand
