Infrastructure Architect - Outside IR35

Contract role - Infrastructure Architect - Hybrid - 12 months initial

We are currently looking for experienced Infrastructure Architect to support a part of our end client's new data centre build.

Infrastructure Program

The programme involves building the data centre, fit-out, setting up shared services and ecosystems and migrating the bank's operations to the new data centre without impacting service.

• The programme is expected to run until the end of 2027.
• The bank has a small core team of around 18 people and relies on resource augmentation to bring in skills as needed to meet demand peaks.

• Job Title: Infrastructure Architect
• Type of Role: Contract - 12 months initially - Inside IR35 PAYE/FTC/Outside IR35
• Location: Leeds/Manchester/Halifax/Bristol/Birmingham/;London/Glasgow Edinburgh/Hybrid (2 days a week onsite)
• Sector: Banking

• Familiarity with data centre/Datacentre/Datacenter infrastructure, including high-speed networking and storage solutions.
• Experience with SDN concepts and implementations in data centre environments.
• Cloud: AWS/GCP
• Experience with Agile development principles and methods, Jira, Confluence
• Banking/Financial Services Background
• Location for this role is Hybrid however a preference would be for candidates closer to Leeds however will consider talent from elsewhere with a requirement to travel company key sites when required - Leeds, Halifax, London, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Bristol, Manchester and Birmingham, 2 days a week onsite
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to convey technically complex information in a clear and concise manner.
• Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
• A strategic thinker with a keen eye for detail and problem-solving.
