HR Consultant

One of our public sector clients is looking for an HR Consultant to join their local authority team on a contract basis.

You will have the following skills and experience:

• minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role
• previous experience within local authority/government/council would be beneficial
• extensive HR experience across the full spectrum of HR Services including business partnering and organisational development.
• experience supervising employees and assigning workloads
• Microsoft office skills (word, excel, Powerpoint)
• an understanding of the workings of local authorities and how they operate
• understanding of legislative framework and governance arrangements applicable to local government.

This is a contract role looking for an ASAP start. Please only apply if yo uare available immediately/2 week notice max.

You will work hybrid, 2 days per week on site in Oldbury. Day rate on offer is £155 inside ir35. Contract running until mid May 2025 initially with possible extensions.
