Your Role:
As an HGV Technician, you'll play a key role in maintaining the fleet, ensuring vehicles and trailers stay in top condition. Your responsibilities will include:
- Servicing, inspecting, maintaining, and repairing HGVs and trailers
- Diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults
- Preparing vehicles for MOT tests
- Completing service reports and maintaining accurate records
- Attending vehicle breakdowns (work van provided)
- Following all safety regulations and procedures
What They're Looking For:
- NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Goods Maintenance (or equivalent experience)
- Proven experience as an HGV Technician
- Full UK driving licence (Class 1 or 2 preferred)
- Your own tools (some provided)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Experience with roller brake testers and mobile column lifts (training available)
