HGV Class 1 Driver

HGV Class 1 drivers wanted for an immediate start in TAMWORTH! Start times varying on days and nights flexibility required. Regular ongoing work throughout the remainder of 2024 and beyond - £18.00 to £20.00 per hour!.Work is bassed in Tamworth area for a Logistics provider that work on behalf of worldwide delivery companies. Day and Night trunks no nights out, No handball involved.We are looking for drivers to commit to any 5 days out of 7 on an ongoing basis.Information about the HGV Class 1 Delivery Driver role:- Consistent regular work throughout the remainder of 2024 and beyond- 45 to 60 hour weeks- Box trailers- Day or Night trunking- Flexibility to do distance or local work- Based near Junction 10 of the M42- easily accessibly from Tamworth, Nuneaton, Coventry, Birmingham, Burton upon trent & SollihullHGV Class 1 Driver rates of pay & hours:- 5 days out of 7 working pattern- £18.00 ph flat rate on days- £20.00 ph flat rate on nights- £20.00 ph for hours worked on the weekend- Minimum 8 hours paid daily, No break deductionRequirements for the HGV Class 1 Driver role:- Valid C+E Licence held for at LEAST 6 months- 6 months of valid CE driving experience- Valid CPC & Digi tacho card- Flexibility to work long hours- Commitment to an ongoing role- To complete a practical driving assessment and an interview on siteWorking for Pertemps you will benefit from the following:- Contract of Employment- Paid annual leave- Pension- Uniform- CPC / Driver training available through the driver training academy- Monthly Pay available- 24 Hour contact with local consultantsPLEASE CLICK APPLY!
