Head of Infrastructure

Infrastructure Manager : £70,000 + 5K Car allowance + benefitsManchester or LeedsWe're looking for an Head of Infrastructure to join a leading organisation that are going through a significant period of growth due to continued success!Within a very stable industry they're looking for someone to lead from an Infrastructure capacity in a newly created role.You'd play an integral role in making sure that Technology supports & enables the business, ensuring that Infrastructure is available, secure and managed successfully .As a senior leader you will play a crucial part in the road map and strategic conversations around technology, really looking at how Infrastructure can evolve with the ever changing landscape of the company!Currently a smaller IT department you do need to be willing to role your sleeves up and be hands on where needed to!Key responsibilities:

• To create a clear and suitable road map so that IT Infrastructure continues to meet the needs of the business as it grows
• Ensure that the environment is actively monitored and all issues are promptly addressed and resolved to high standards
• Implement policies, procedures, controls etc to keep a secure environment
• Help Infrastructure evolve in line with both the business but also from a tool and technology perspective
• Manage costs and budgets
• Manage key vendors and suppliers
• Mentor and support your team to help with their career aspirations
