About The RoleTeam - Member Servicing Working Pattern - Hybrid - 2 days per week in the Vitality Stockport Office. Full time, 35 hours per week. We are happy to discuss flexible working! Top 3 skills needed for this role:

What this role is all about:As a functional specialist you will be responsible for coordinating local, small scale projects within your functional area and managing these changes from inception to completion. You will have a passion for reading data, reviewing current processes and being an advocate for change providing the outputs of your projects to influence such change with a force for good. You will have strong stakeholder management skills as you will be a link between operational areas, and SME/BME for other areas such as our Clinical Teams, IT, Product Owners, R&D team, Supplier Management, External Partners, Internal Comms, Marketing, HR.Key Actions
  • Initiate and drive business area projects from inception to completion, ensuring minimal operational impact.
  • Capture business requirements, analyse data, and maintain internal guidance materials and communications.
  • Create and manage local project plans, track actions, and provide regular status reports to stakeholders.
  • Use product and process knowledge to contribute to business-wide projects, improving efficiency and performance.
  • Represent the business area as an SME, ensuring deliverables meet customer, end-user, and stakeholder expectations.
  • Engage with Operational Management on system escalations, new requirements, and continuous improvement activities.
  • Consider automation of operational processes and use existing and new technology to support business needs.
  • Maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders and provide regular communications and strategic updates.
What do you need to thrive?
  • Experienced in operational environments (ideally Financial Services)
  • Local change management experience (ideally within an operational environment)
  • Stakeholder relationship management experience
  • Understanding of data analysis and statistics
  • Experience with product and process changes, and embedding them into operational areas
  • Managing operational processes with multiple stakeholders, across business areas and systems
  • Proven problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Experienced in using Microsoft Applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio)
