Job Title: Full Stack Umbraco Developer
Location: Edinburgh, Hybrid Working
Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Full Stack Umbraco Developer to join our clients development team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience working with Umbraco CMS, along with proficiency in Front End and Back End technologies. You will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing web applications, ensuring high performance, security, and user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain websites and web applications using Umbraco CMS.
  • Design, build, and deploy scalable and secure web solutions.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using C#, .NET, and JavaScript.
  • Implement Front End components using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks.
  • Integrate APIs, third-party services, and databases into web applications.
  • Collaborate with designers, developers, and project managers to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure optimal website performance.
  • Stay up to date with the latest web development trends and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer with expertise in Umbraco CMS.
  • Strong proficiency in C#, .NET, and ASP.NET MVC.
  • Experience with Front End technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and frameworks like React or Angular.
  • Knowledge of SQL Server and database management.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.
  • Understanding of SEO best practices and website performance optimization.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (eg, Git).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with cloud platforms like Azure or AWS.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with headless CMS and JAMstack.
  • Experience in agile development methodologies.
