Job Description: We are looking for an enthusiastic and innovative Food Technology Teacher to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and delivering engaging lessons that inspire students to explore the world of food and nutrition. You will play a key role in helping students develop practical skills and a deep understanding of the importance of healthy eating and food science.
Key Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons in Food Technology.

Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.

Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share best practices.

Participate in extracurricular activities and school events.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the curriculum and educational trends.

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

Experience teaching Food Technology at secondary school level.

Strong communication and organisational skills.

A commitment to continuous professional development.

Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. All successful applicants will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
