About the Role:

As a History Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching engaging and challenging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to teach at A Level if desired. You will inspire students with a love of history, fostering critical thinking and curiosity while supporting their academic and personal growth.

This is a permanent, full-time position where you will have the opportunity to shape young minds, develop your teaching skills, and be part of a collaborative, forward-thinking department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Delivering high-quality, engaging History lessons across a range of key stages.
• Planning, preparing, and assessing lessons to ensure student progress and attainment.
• Supporting the development of students' analytical and research skills.
• Contributing to the wider school community through extracurricular activities.
• Engaging in ongoing professional development opportunities.

About You:

• A qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent) with a degree in History or a related subject.
• A passion for teaching and a strong commitment to student success.
• Experience teaching History at Key Stage 3 and 4 (A Level experience is a plus).
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• A collaborative team player with a proactive approach to professional development.
