Financial Controls and Compliance Specialist - Audits

Financial Controls and Compliance Specialist vacancy requiring profound Audits knowledge for a globally operating Basel based company in the pharmaceutical sector.

Your tasks:

• Ensuring compliance with the Internal Controls over Financial Reporting, Financial Controls Manual and SOX 404 requirements
• Contributing to the SOX 404 attestation processes as well as reviewing the documentation
• Providing services to establish and maintain an appropriate control environment
• Reporting on the adequacy of financial controls, including documentation, testing and remediation and tracking the status in case of gaps
• Evaluating change impacts, including new technologies, business processes and control changes
• Supporting the implementation of controls in advance of changes in the organization while also collaborating with partners regarding financial controls and compliance related matters

Your experience/knowledge:

• 5+ years of experience in compliance and audits, focusing on finance audits and SOX audits
• Expertise in standard processes and control requirements for internal and external audits
• Knowhow in SAP ERP along with a good understanding of key risks and mitigating controls
• University Degree in Economics, Business Administration or equivalent, with focus on Finance, Accounting or Auditing
• Language skills: English - fluent in written and spoken, German is an advantage
