Design Manager

Design Manager needed to support an ongoing MOD site in Plymouth

Hays are currently supporting an ongoing MOD project in Devonport Dockyard. As a result, we are looking for an additional Design Manager to join the team and support the site for around 6 months.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and approve design documents, drawings, and specifications.
• Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to senior management.
• Identify and address any design-related issues or challenges that may arise during construction.
• Ensure that all design activities are carried out in accordance with the project plan and timeline.
• Maintain effective communication and coordination between all project stakeholders.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure adherence to design specifications and quality standards.
  
  

Qualifications and Experience:

• Proven experience as a Design Manager in the construction industry.
• Proficiency in design software and tools.
• Ability to pass BPSS clearance.
