Hays are currently supporting an ongoing MOD project in Devonport Dockyard. As a result, we are looking for an additional Design Manager to join the team and support the site for around 6 months.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and approve design documents, drawings, and specifications.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to senior management.
- Identify and address any design-related issues or challenges that may arise during construction.
- Ensure that all design activities are carried out in accordance with the project plan and timeline.
- Maintain effective communication and coordination between all project stakeholders.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure adherence to design specifications and quality standards.
- Proven experience as a Design Manager in the construction industry.
- Proficiency in design software and tools.
- Ability to pass BPSS clearance.
