About Us:Join our dynamic and forward-thinking secondary school in London. We are committed to providing an inclusive and supportive environment where every student can thrive. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Deputy Headteacher to lead our Behaviour and Attendance initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership:
    Develop and implement strategies to improve student behaviour and attendance.
  • Policy Management:
    Oversee the creation and enforcement of behaviour and attendance policies.
  • Staff Development:
    Train and support staff in behaviour management techniques and attendance monitoring.
  • Student Support:
    Work closely with students, parents, and external agencies to address behavioural and attendance issues.
  • Data Analysis:
    Monitor and analyse behaviour and attendance data to inform interventions and policy adjustments.
  • Safeguarding:
    Ensure all safeguarding policies are adhered to and promote a safe learning environment.

Requirements:
  • Qualifications:
    Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree.
  • Experience:
    Proven experience in a leadership role within a secondary school setting, with a focus on behaviour and attendance.
  • Skills:
    Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to inspire and motivate both staff and students.
  • Knowledge:
    In-depth understanding of current educational policies and practices related to behaviour and attendance.
  • Commitment:
    A strong commitment to promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion.
