Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership:
Develop and implement strategies to improve student behaviour and attendance. - Policy Management:
Oversee the creation and enforcement of behaviour and attendance policies. - Staff Development:
Train and support staff in behaviour management techniques and attendance monitoring. - Student Support:
Work closely with students, parents, and external agencies to address behavioural and attendance issues. - Data Analysis:
Monitor and analyse behaviour and attendance data to inform interventions and policy adjustments. - Safeguarding:
Ensure all safeguarding policies are adhered to and promote a safe learning environment.
Requirements:
- Qualifications:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree. - Experience:
Proven experience in a leadership role within a secondary school setting, with a focus on behaviour and attendance. - Skills:
Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to inspire and motivate both staff and students. - Knowledge:
In-depth understanding of current educational policies and practices related to behaviour and attendance. - Commitment:
