Data Analyst

MUST BE BASED IN BELGIUM

50% on-site in Brussels, 50% remote working

Fluency in English and either French or Dutch

As a Senior Data Analyst, you will support our client in upgrading their current data setup and developing new data analytics methods. Your role will involve both strategic and operational tasks, contributing to the overall vision of data management and performing detailed data analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Upgrade data sourcing, modelling, and analysis methods.
• Develop data analytics methods to meet current and future needs
• Deliver high-quality data sets and analytics outputs
• Contribute to the strategic vision of OPC data management.
• Perform data exploration, extraction, and data crunching for BI purposes
• Utilise diverse data analytical methodologies, including machine learning and forecasting
• Create compelling data visualisations.

Skills and Experience:

• Technical Proficiency: SQL, Python, interaction with Oracle DBs, predictive modelling (machine learning), and data visualisation (Tableau, Power BI).
• Preferable: Knowledge of AB Initio and familiarity with the SAS universe.
• Mandatory: At least 3 years of relevant experience in data analytics, proven data management background, and management consulting experience
• Excellent communication and influencing skills, proactive attitude, strong analytical and synthesis skills, autonomy, commitment, perseverance, and the ability to work in a dynamic, multicultural environment.
• Educational Background: A master's degree in data analysis, data science, or a business degree with proven experience in data analytics.

Language Requirements:

• Fluent in Dutch or French
• Fluent in English
