Clinical Manager Job Description: Recruit by Nature are currently seeking an experienced and skilled Clinical Deputy Manager to join our nursing home team. As the Deputy Manager, you will work alongside the Home Manager to ensure the delivery of high-quality care to our residents and the effective management of the home. The position is full supernumerary - however in emergencies they may be required to cover the floor as the nurse.

Deputy Manager Key Responsibilities:
Supporting the Home Manager in the daily management & running of the Care Home. Managing, delivering & leading high quality care as part of the Nursing/care team using a person centred approach
Ensuring the individual needs of service users are met, providing opportunities for individuals to use their skills and enhance their quality of life, whilst maintaining their independence and privacy
Leading a team of Nurses in all aspects of Nursing Care including medication management, Care planning and wound care
Whilst being organised & reliable in approach to work.
Assisting in quality control audits and improvement plans
Contributing to nurse and care staff training and development programmes
This post involves both clinical and management responsibilities

Deputy Manager Requirements:

Registered Nurse with an active NMC pin.
Previous experience as a Deputy Manager, Clinical Lead or Senior Nurse.
Experience of supporting the elderly.
Minimum of 2 years' experience in a nursing home environment.
Right to Work within the UK.
Strong clinical skills and knowledge.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience in care planning and assessment.
Knowledge of relevant legislation and guidelines.
Good IT skills, including experience with electronic care planning systems
