Job Description:
Title: IT Change Manager
Location: Brussels, Belgium
Duration: 12 months freelance contract (extension possible)
Work Mode: Hybrid (2-3 days onsite per week)

Languages: English and (French or Dutch)

Mission Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Change Manager to join our newly created "Process & Governance" team, established to implement foundational processes that will improve the functioning of our Information Systems (IS) department. The mission is to provide strong guidance to support, maintain, and ensure that all stakeholders are engaged with the transformation. The goal is for everyone to be aligned with the established transformation framework, and a dedicated portal is under development to centralize all necessary documents and information. This governance initiative aims to keep all content updated and relevant, allowing team members to perform their duties effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strengthen or define governance structures for tracking progress in process implementation.
  • Identify and engage the most suitable partners to facilitate change.
  • Organize workshops and sessions focused on relevant themes to drive organizational impact.
  • Create and formalize presentations and documentation that tell the transformation "storyline."
  • Demonstrate and communicate the added value and rationale of the transformation.
  • Contribute to implementing specific action points from our IS process evolution plan and encourage their adoption.
  • Provide strategic consulting in the development of the transformation and support strategy.

Technical Skills & Experience Required:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a project management or Change Officer role.
  • At least 3 years of experience in digital transformation roles.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working in teams and with cross-functional collaboration (as a coach, mentor, scrum master, etc.).
  • At least 3 years of experience working with an executive board.
  • Experience in stakeholder identification and management.
  • Knowledge of IT Process Management, IT Project Management, ITIL V4, and SharePoint.

Language Requirements:

  • Fluent in French or Dutch.
  • Proficiency in a second language (French or Dutch).
  • Strong command of English.

Additional Information:

  • The mission has an initial duration of 880 working days, with the possibility of extension.
  • Availability to work onsite 2-3 days per week.

Certifications (preferred but not mandatory):

  • Prosci certification
  • ADKAR certification
