About the Organisation
Our client is a membership organisation.
They are Investors in People (IIP) Gold and Investors in Wellbeing (IIW) Silver accredited, which reflects their commitment to their employees who are a vital part of supporting their members.
They are now looking for a Business Development Manager to join them on a full-time, permanent basis.
The Role
As a Business Development Manager, you will drive product growth and sales to a range of businesses throughout the UK.
Increasing uptake of memberships, training, events and sponsorship products and services, you will be the vital link connecting our client and businesses across the community.
You will join the Learning and Development customer-facing team, primarily focusing on partnering and building relationships, managing key accounts and ensuring financial and non-financial targets are achieved.
Your role will involve travelling across the UK to represent the organisation at customer and industry events.
About You
To be considered as a Business Development Manager, you will need:
- Proven experience in relationship management or business development
- A good understanding of CRM systems such as MS Dynamics
- Financial and commercial awareness, with strong budget management skills
- Enthusiasm for supporting members and organisations toward growth and improvement
- The ability to work with a wide range of clients, from apprentices to directors
- Previous experience working in a membership-based environment would be beneficial, but is not essential
- A full, valid driving licence (up to six points)
