JOB PURPOSE
Momenta Connect, part of theOutcomes First Group (OFG), brings together three distinct brands:London Children's Practice (LCP), Welfare Education Services (WPA),and Acorn Digital Learning (ADL). These brands provide specialistservices across a range of sectors, supporting individuals andorganizations in various needs.
The purpose ofthe Business Development Manager will be to play a key role inidentifying and driving growth opportunities for these brands,working to build strategic relationships, increase market presence,and identify new business opportunities. The role will also involveworking closely with Local Authorities, Multi-Academy Trusts(MATs), Schools, and Alternative Provision (AP) centres to securenew business and expand service offerings.
KeyResponsibilities:
- New BusinessDevelopment: Identify and pursue new business opportunities acrossthe UK, focusing on expanding relationships with Local Authorities,MATs, Schools, and PRUs, while leveraging market insights to drivenew business expansion.
- Sales Targets &Forecasting: Ensure delivery of sales targets aligned with companyobjectives, providing accurate forecasts on sales performance andgrowth opportunities.
- Relationship Building:Cultivate strong relationships with Local Authorities,Multi-Academy Trusts, Schools, and AP centres, positioning Momentaas a leader in online education and therapeuticservices.
- Proposals & Tenders: Support thebid process for Local Authority framework tenders and directawards, collaborating with the Central Business Development Team toensure compliance with procurement frameworks and deliveringsuccessful outcomes.
- Marketing Input: Workclosely with the Marketing department, providing insights andfeedback to inform marketing plans and support campaignactivity.
Experience:
- Proven track record in business development orsales within a services-based or regulated environment(essential).
- Experience working with LocalAuthorities, MATs, Schools, or in sectors such as education,healthcare, or social care (desirable).
- Familiarity with delivering against sales targets anddriving revenue growth (essential).
- Experiencein proposal writing and bid management (essential).
- Previous experience working across multiple brands orservice lines (desirable).
Skills:
- Demonstratedsuccess in new business development to the public and privateeducation sector.
- Strong commercial acumenwith a focus on driving new business acquisition.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability toengage and influence education and local government stakeholders atall levels.
- Strong analytical skills tointerpret market trends and customer needs, using insights toinform business strategy.
- Proficient inmanaging pipelines in CRM systems and forecasting futuresales.
- Ability to work independently andcollaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
