Business and Finance Manager

REPORTS TO: Director of Finance & Resources

SALARY: Scale PO4 (37-38) £50,646 - £51,663 pa (Prorated: £37,633 - £38,389 pa)

HOURS OF WORK: 4 days / 0.8 (28 hours per week - Term Time Only + 10 Days)

We are seeking a proactive Business and Finance Manager to join our Finance team. Reporting to the Director of Finance & Resources, you'll oversee financial management, budget planning, procurement, and contract management. You will line manage a Finance Officer, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and supporting the school's sustainability.

Key responsibilities include managing day-to-day financial operations and reporting, supporting budget planning and overseeing procurement processes. You will also support grant applications and fund management.

Requirements include a relevant finance qualification (e.g. AAT, ACCA, CIMA), strong financial management experience, and excellent leadership and analytical skills.
