Bilingual Network System Administrator - France (Paris/Rouen) - Freelance

Our client is looking for a skilled Network System Administrator to join a leading IT Consultancy on a freelance basis working between Paris and Rouen in France on a year-long project.

Offering the chance to work on a major network infrastructure projects, supporting diverse end-users, and as part of a specialist team, you will be involved in maintaining system performance, managing requests and incidents, and reporting.

The Role

• Maintaining operational production and service conditions
• Measure and optimise system performance
• Analysing and processing incidents and escalated requests as part of the support chain, in compliance with contractual commitments
• Installing, testing and putting into production new solutions validated by the Information System Management
• Provide technical assistance and skills transfer to the operating teams

Requirements

• At least 3 years working in a Network System Administration position, ideally with a consultancy
• Fluent conversational English skills
• Able to work in either Paris or Rouen, and to travel between the two
• There is a possibility of on-call work with this role
• A solid understanding of ITIL processes, including Incident, Problem, and Change Management
