Alfresco Engineer

We have a current opportunity for a Alfresco Engineer on a contract basis. The position will be based in Basel.

Location: Basel and remote - candidates need to live in Switzerland (or need to relocate)

Our client is looking for an IT Engineer with strong knowledge of the Hyland Alfresco platform.
The successful candidate will help us implement and enhance the document and records management system. This will include contributing to the technical architecture as well as implementing new processes and functionalities.

Tasks:
* Implement and configure the platform as per business requirements and IT architecture
* Implement integrations with third-party systems
* Design high level IT architecture for new features/capabilities to the platform
* Understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
* Design and develop features using Alfresco development framework
* Perform system administration duties
* Perform system maintenance duties, including but not limited to, system upgrades, patching, and overall stability of the system
* Provide application support for end users
* Produce technical documentation

Skills:
* Bachelor's degree in IT or related field desirable or equivalent experience. (*)
* 7+ years of experience with Hyland Alfresco platform and its capabilities as a document and records management systems. (*)
* Excellent knowledge in at least two of the Alfresco main modules: content management services (ACS), federation services (AFS), process services (APS), digital workspace (ADW), and governance services (AGS) (*)
* 5+ years' experience with using web technologies such as JavaScript, Angular, HTML and CSS (*)
* High level of proficiency in Alfresco development framework (*)
* Fluent in English (*)

Bonus:
* Any knowledge on Sharepoint Prime & Online, and Cloud would be beneficial.
* Alfresco certification is a plus.
